Master in Digital Fashion Innovation and Sustainability
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The impact of digital transformation is pervasive across all aspects of our lives, and digital technologies have emerged as powerful tools for promoting culture, arts, and fashion. While Silicon Valley continues to pioneer innovative smart devices and make strides in virtual and augmented reality, the art, fashion, and luxury industry is spearheading a fresh approach to integrating technologies into production, manufacturing, retail, and supply chain processes.
OBJECTIVES
The Master aims to fill the existing digital skills gap in fashion business education and meet the increasing demand for highly trained digital fashion professionals. Through the program, students will analyze the socio-cultural processes that shape fashion and drive its impact on society, acquiring the key skills to market digital fashion and luxury products in a sustainable way. This involves reducing costs and waste while addressing new international markets.
Moreover, they will develop the knowledge and skills to manage all aspects related to the design of new fashion products, taking into account sustainability, digitization, and product innovation. Upon completion of the master’s program, students will be able to:
- Analyze the implementation of technology as a competitive advantage in the fashion and luxury value chain.
- Explore significant innovations in digital fashion design and production.
- Lead technological innovation in the fashion and luxury company.
- Identify the unique marketing management aspects of luxury and fashion, and assess the importance of a brand’s environment and its strategic management.
- Develop advanced specialist skills in digital fashion disciplines.
- Contribute to responsible design systems and practices.
- Develop alternative, creative, and experimental design solutions.

A FULLY ON LINE STUDY MODEL
The Master can be attended entirely online through the “MIA University Campus” platform, which offers students a flexible and personalized learning environment. INTERNSHIP
Partnership between MIA Digital University and AWWG for student internships
AWWG, a global fashion group that incorporates the Pepe Jeans London, Hackett, and Façonnable brands, has established a partnership with MIA Digital University for student internships and placements.
Current students and graduates of the Master in Management and Marketing of Fashion and Luxury, as well as the Master in Digital Fashion Innovation and Sustainability, will have the opportunity to participate in the ‘Internship & Graduate Program.’ This program entails a 6-month to one-year internship in one of the company’s management areas, with the possibility of joining the company at the end of that period.
